CCI's 27' digital mobile produciton unit includes a separate audio room, production and video tape areas (see floor plan and pictures). The truck is wired for six triax cameras (Sony DXC-D35WS digital video cameras 16:9 widescreen or 4:3), includes a Grass Valley Zodiak digital switcher with 64 inputs, 8 transform engines and 4 channels of still store, Chyron Hyper X with Clyp Player, Lyric 5.25, Photoshop, and MS Office, (2) Grass Valley M Series 2 in/2 out DDR, (2) Fast Forward dual channel DDR, BetaSX and BetaSP recording capabilities (other formats available), DNF Slo-Mo Controller, five frame syncs (3 with HD up/down conversion) and a 32 channel audio console. The unit also includes an on-board Onan 7.5 KW diesel generator allowing the mobile unit to be used where shore power is not available.
In addition, the truck has an RTS two-channel intercom system with series 300 & 325 base stations, four channels of IFB, a Gentner hybrid coupler/telephone interface, Telos Link and Merlin Phone System with four line inputs. Also available is over 5,300' of triax cable, 2,500' of coax cable, various audio mults and lengths of audio cable, and a full complement of microphones.
